What about Plearnprai

          For over 11 years, Dr. Nik (Dr. Narut Apichatammarit), a rural doctor at a small community hospital in Chaiyaphum Province, has been trying to solve health issues in the area using his medical knowledge. However, he found that the health problems of rural residents are related to monoculture chemical farming, leading to poverty, debt, migration labor issues, and broken families (grandparents raising grandchildren without the parents' generation).

          Dr. Nik spent over seven years establishing the Chaiyaphum Organic Farming Network, creating a provincial training center, and developing the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) for organic agriculture certification in Chaiyaphum. Today, there are self-reliant sustainable farmers in almost every district, with more than 100 farms.

          Moving forward, Dr. Nik has brought together a team of doctors with knowledge in modern medicine, Thai traditional medicine, Chinese medicine, and other alternative medicines to establish a social enterprise called "Plearnprai Organic." This enterprise aims to purchase produce from sustainable farms in the province and develop it into health products for consumers.

         With fertile soil resulting from sustainable farming practices, we harvest high-quality, chemical-free produce. These crops undergo minimal processing to maintain their natural integrity, avoiding chemical extraction to preserve the natural value of the herbs, thus delivering the earth's power directly to the consumers.

         The medical team designs the formulas, selecting herbs based on credible research. These formulas are balanced by Thai traditional medicine practitioners, creating a variety of dietary supplements aimed at enhancing the health of consumers from within. Additionally, there are award-winning external health products for skin and body care, recognized by multiple organizations.

        We are committed to every step, from cultivation using sustainable agricultural methods to processing that considers environmental impact. We establish waste management systems to maximize utility and design packaging to minimize waste as much as possible.

         We are a social enterprise committed to creating sustainability for the community and the environment. We establish a supportive system throughout the entire production chain, including farmers, community members, employees, partners, and consumers.

         We provide comprehensive organic farming knowledge to help farmers become self-reliant, earn a stable income, have sufficient food, and encourage migrant workers to return to their hometowns, building complete families and sustainable communities.

          We continuously expand sustainable farming areas, reduce chemical contamination, decrease burning and deforestation, and restore environmental integrity.

          Good food, a strong economy, healthy families, and a clean environment lead to sustainable well-being for the community. This vision, initiated by Dr. Nik, is the foundation of Plearnprai.
